Yoga classes

I offer private yoga sessions in a centrally located downtown house in Prescott. The classes are tailored to your specific needs. I offer 60, 70, and 90 minutes of multiple types of yoga, including Sivananda, Bikram, and Iyengar. I offer group rates for family members or friends.

About me: I was fortunate to start my yoga adventure as a teenager with the Iyengar practice. My family loves Iyengar for its beautiful and precise alignments. Challenging postures can be safely performed by using props if necessary. Iyengar offers a variety of postures.
Then, in my early twenties, I discovered Sivananda. This is my favorite yoga to introduce people to. The goal of the Sivananda founders was to bring world peace by making yoga accessible to everyone. This is a great yoga to reset your nervous system and to help to attain complete relaxation with the possibility of doing complex and gentle poses.
I discovered Bikram yoga more recently. This yoga is traditionally practiced in a hot and humid room to prevent injury. The heat is forging your body while you practice. The postures and pranayama are always the same and repeated twice, helping you to go deeper into your practice.
